Welcome to FSRD!

Active League Membership (ALM) makes skaters eligible to vote, try out for charter teams, run for positions, and be rostered on MoCo Mayhem. ALM is also a baseline (but not the sole) requirement for being rostered on the Black-Eyed Suzies and Rock Villains.

ALM has three components: hours, dues, and attendance.

 1. Hours

a) What is the requirement?

Skaters are asked to do & track six (6) hours of work per month.

b) How can I fulfill the requirement?

• Use the polls below to track your hours. You can only use each poll once. (See polls for full instructions.)
• Note that you must be logged in to WildApricot, and your membership must be active. (If your membership is listed as "lapsed," it's a dues issue.)

c) Who can answer questions or address concerns?

• If you're having any trouble finding work to do or with the tracking mechanism, please email the league chairs at freestaterollerderby@gmail.com.

• Please reach out before the 20th of the month!

d) How can I check my current status?

Each poll can only be used once, but you can go back into old polls to see what you've already tracked.

 2. Dues

a) What is the requirement?

• Dues are $50 per month.
• Trainees/freshies pay $20 for their first two months. 
• Officials/volunteers do not pay dues.

b) How can I fulfill the requirement?

• You receive an invoice via WildApricot at the beginning of every month. Log in to your WA account to pay by credit card.
• If you need a partial dues waiver, please fill out this Dues Waiver Form. The Dues Maven will adjust your invoice, and you can then pay the new amount.

c) Who can answer questions or address concerns?

• If you receive a duplicate invoice, don't pay twice!
• If you have any questions about dues, receive a duplicate invoice, or would like to set up an alternate form of payment, please email Sting, the Dues Maven, at samraed98@gmail.com and CC payfsrd@gmail.com.

d) How can I check my current status?

• Log in to your profile and click through to "Invoices and payments." Make sure all your invoices are paid ("settled").

 3. Attendance

a) What is the requirement?

• During the season, the base attendance rate is 75%. (During the off season, it is 50%.)
• E.g., in a month with 8 practices, make at least 6; in a month with 7, make at least 5.
• Excused absences do not count against your total.
• You can sub in make-up practices with other teams/leagues (and in the case of trainees, independent skate time) up to twice per month.

b) How can I fulfill the requirement?

• Attendance fairies take attendance at all practices.
• To track excused absences or make-up skating, use the Excused Absence/Make-Up Skating Report Form. (See form for full details.)
• When you miss three or more consecutive weeks of practice, you can take this as a leave of absence (LOA), rather than individual absences. Use the Leave of Absence Form. (See form for full details.)
• Check your info at the end of each month to make sure it's correct.

c) Who can answer questions or address concerns?

d) How can I check my current status?

• In April, there were 6 practices (not including the bout), of which 4 (plus working a shift at the bout) make full attendance.
